BJ's Gold 'n Glass

Postby Joe S (AK) » Thu Feb 27, 2014 5:31 pm

BJ (Mrs Joe S(AK) came up with an idea a few years ago. She took hand cut stained glass, put some of our Alaskan Gold on it (with a tooth pick), cut a piece of clear "stained Glass" to cover it and then fuzed it all into a pendent. For ear rings she merely melted the Gold into the small cut glass.

For a while she tried a website on the net but that turned out to be quite expensive. Now she deals directly - our email is placerauau2@tds.net

WOW! Time sure got away from me!

Yes, we always return to Alaska in the spring (like the mosquitoes)

In fact, another year has gone by and we're about to return again for 2015.

If anyone makes it up this summer and makes it to Talkeetna (100 miles from Anchorage on the Parks Highway make a right and go 13 miles) you can meet up with The Queen at the Open Air Market on Sat, Sun or Mon. She'll talk your ears off!

Joe
