Restored Bling

This is a very old ring that was totally worn out. The shank was broken and had many cracks, the nugget were so smooth they looked like plain gold and one of the diamonds was broke. The owner bought this ring as scrap ($360) at a gold show and decided to have me fix it. He traded me a treasure chest of diamonds and gems, plus supplied the new diamond and all the gold. It is now a $7-8000 ring. This was one of my most difficult jobs. Thanks for looking

I, too, would be curious as to what that ring weighs in at. That has be over an ounce, I would guess ounce and a half? Talk about heavy.
My mom (RIP) wore a ring that my dad made that was 1oz. placer nuggets including the band which was custom molded using placer fines (24k).

The basic part of the ring is very thin, unlike the heavy rings I make. Total weight was 18.5 grams.... but it looks like ounces!
