Quite a few years back my brother went to a auction and there was a 3 inch trash pump up to sell that was listed as it had a locked up motor. My brother bid on it and it went cheap , $50.( or my brother wouldn't have bid on it ) ! As it turned out after he got home with it and started looking into why it wouldn't turn over he found a stick stuck in the impellor wheel. once removed it ran fine ! Just goes to show you ! He used it for a year and then sold it for $300. for a tidy profit!
