Float Protection

Postby knox » Sat Jun 16, 2012 7:55 am

Greetings, Just ordered a set of floats for the dredge I am building. They are made out of polyethylene. I was wondering if there is a good way to protect these floats such as using roll on bed liner to protect the bottom portion and then some of that rustoleum plastic paint on the top portion to block the UV rays (Gunship Grey of course).

Any Ideas?

you shouldnt need anything for them! they are not like to old yellow Keene floats! UNLESS you plan on riding it over some falls, then theres NO hope for you!:) but you would fit right in with the CCC boys!:):)

Sounds like the State of California has an excellent plan for float protection.
