I'll jump in here. KC0WOX I have a 20 meter dipole at work. Other than that, I take a 40 and 20 meter dipole camping with me.

Well, the ink is hardly dry on the FCC ticket.
KD0IRT. So far, I am working 2m and 70 cm handhelds, they work great on the road.
I also have a little 500 milliwatt beacons, for a little try at RDF.

Hello i am Mark (KB7OUZ) i am a LDMA member. On 9/29/10 thur 10/3/10 at Scott Bar, Ca. i am setting up a Special Event Station ( K6G) in memory of George Massie. It is a 5 day event. The purpose of this event is to honor George and to see how many Hams are in the GPAA and the LDMA. I will be operating on everything for 160m to 10m. I would like to log as many member stations as possible to include as many camps as possible also. If this goes well, i will try to have an Extra Class to get a club call. I also have a blog on the LDMA site. I will have a QSL card made for this event. I also would like to have someone to volunteer to set up a net once a week maybe on 17m, 20m or 40m.

It sounds like fun! If you were closer, I'd try to make it.

Heres Ed and at Field Day on the Flats in Wyoming. We hammed for Field Day and then dredged on July 1st, opening day. Ed didn't have his license then and he went back, did a little studying and now has his license.

W7GBG checking in. I haven't been active for a couple of years, but have had a license for over 50 years. I'm about to get back on the air (hf) with an all band vertical as soon as all of the snow leaves so I can get the back yard cleaned up and the radials put down. Not sure if I can make the get together, but I will at least try to call in.

Hi Guys, W4MRK here. Have not been active in a while due to moving into a neighborhood with antenna restrictions (no trees). Tried multiple solutions from attic antennas to Outbacks and screwdrivers in the back yard with out much success. Still keep a 2 meter in the truck, but between older friends going SK and younger friends getting wrapped up in the politics of having "positions", I rarely even turn it on. Around here a 10 minute ragchew on the local repeater usually results in a couple hours of your "buddies" taking about you on the telephone LOL.
