Thanks fella's.

Russ: do you (or anyone else reading) know if Alan is still alive? Can't find anything on him (or Phil) past 2002 (when they came up with that sluice). Connie built an enlarged version of it and we still have a couple but didn't have them with us for that trip (would have built a long tom if we did).

Dick: The Miller table would be an excellent idea if I was doing it everyday for sure. At this point one more piece of equipment is just one more thing to move . . .

Hoser: Connie doing pretty good with the foot - still has phantom pain off and on though.

Finally: in regards to sluice boxes, I've been wading through this material: http://www.hecklerfabrication.com/files/sluice-build-partIII-2.pdf and you might find parts of it interesting.

Gary Weishaupt has written good reports and I liked reading / viewing his projects. As far as Allan and the DFS sluice , he kinda dropped the ball and let the DFs sluice go by the wayside. Phil Hontz gave the control of this sluice project to Allan. Phil is usually over on https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/nmprospectors I talk with him every now and then

Great video Matt!
Oh for the good old days when we could dredge and I was young enough to dredge. At 75 I just can't do it anymore but I was fortunate enough to dredge with you Matt, and all of the others that were at Rivers West and the Umpqua. At the DEF Rally.
