We had 40 sustained for about 3 hours but at low tide, so luckily no one got bit here (again). Better news is our friends on the E. coast (one on Merritt Island the other in Jax being the most exposed among many friends and relatives) didn't get flooded either. One has two enormous oaks down in the yard that just missed the house, the other has roof damage but didn't get flooded despite being 300 yards from the Intracoastal Waterway. LUCKY!

I do pray for the people in NC and up the coast - turns out they really took it even though the storm was technically over.
