that is what I use,4in over/under and I love the way it works. I have modified the under sluice to mostly large expanded over miners moss and ribbed rubber matting.

We sold many after the over/under dredge boxes were such a hit. Even the big Ice Dredger ,Palmenke sp?, went to a under scalper. Much easier than preclassifying by hand as a step eliminated but you do haul a whole bunch of oversize to your sluicebox though. Much more shoveling of disguards also. EZ to make and doesn't add much weight. You can also just have a flip screen at the head to shovel onto, rinse and flop over to disguard over sized cobbles. Couple a hinges and a heavy wire or punchplate and good to go--John

My two cents.

Check out Andy's toprunner.
He builds them here in NE. I think his price is still around the price of an A52 Keene. I think about $100

It is a fluid bed as well, I've got one of his original prototypes he has refined it, it moves dirt well and is great at fine gold recovery..
When we go the Nemaha we just shovel raw run into a bucket and drop it in. It can run a 5 gallon bucket in just a few minutes. My wife and took one to Co and worked the beach at Fairplay this summer for about a 1/2 day, I dug material, and as fast as I could dig she was running material (and getting color).
I've seen grumpys, it is expensive.
