We will be off grid solar to get and IREA pulled to our place from the closest location would be 70k. To do solar will be 20k.

I have a 5000W gasoline generator. probably for building i'd use it.

As IREA moves into the area, the price to run drops. I've thought about getting on the assessors office getting the owner information along the route to our land and get an association thing going. Every person who needs a drop along the way.

I've heard that it is federal law that if you build solar, the utility is required to pull into the location anyway because they are supposed to buy back surplus? Something I am looking into..
