Hey Russ - just got back from my long weekend, and finished unloading the car and trailer. Ugh!! ;) Splash was good. Randy showed me a spot that had easier   access than the High Hopes where we met a couple years back. Have a couple pounds of cons to go through, at my leisure. I feel every ache and pain!!! Epsom salt bath here I come. :D

Nope. Rented an Aliner camper. It pulled easy with the Jeep, and I stowed most everything in the trailer when on the road. Other than give it a good cleaning before turning it in, I don't have the worries trailer owners have. Storing, full time insurance, etc.

Pat,

Was really nice meeting up with you for the few days you were on the river....and sluicing twice for some fine flood gold... ;)

Nobody got hurt, we enjoyed the sunny/warm days and watched a LOT of kayakers & rafters go by too...

Hopefully you'll pan out a lot of gold out of your black sand cons. Too bad the river was up so high/fast for this time of year. Couldn't really run your Gold Cube this trip, but we did get in some sluicing.

It's been real cloudy, cool, raining now nonstop today.

Randy "C-17A" :)
