This was almost downtown in Loveland. Mountain Lion attacked a woman and a sheriff deputy. Watch the video and you'll decide it was a little up close and personal.

We drive near that a lot. A few hours earlier we were in that area watching 2 elk herds. Each had about 100 elk. We parked about 50 feet from one herd and watched them about 20 minutes.

Don't let Pat ( H2O ) Waters hear about this or he will NEVER go near Loveland ,CO. Sorry Pat that video just brought back memories of down on the Arkansas River one day!

Don't worry Russ, this coronavirus keeps me at home! Tried to send you a PM, but it won't leave my inbox.

Pat:
Just to let you know, we sold the High Hopes claim. It won't be available for casual panning any more.

Leonard,

I read your post about the claim being sold. Hate to see it go, but most of us are way beyond our prospecting years.

My friends and I were about the only one's using it and I can no longer dredge so we decided to let it go to someone who would use it. It was great while I could dredge there. We were about the only one's that had a valid dredging permit there.

More of our "wild" elk. This was about 2 miles from our house. Notice the "Wilds" of Colorado with natures big beasts roaming around. We saw a herd of around 250 about 6 miles from where this was. I couldn't get off the road to take pictures of it.
