Sunday August 8 at Golden Optimist #1

I'm meeting Bob, bobber2, at my claim near Boulder, Co for a little dredging. If you are interested in joining us, PM me and I'll get you the details. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, check with me first, nn 6"-8" dredges, and keep any gold you find. We plan on being there from about 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Leonard, don't think I'll bring the dredge for Sunday...but would like to do some metal detecting if the gold is big enough to detect on your claim?

We have found a 4 grain flake upstream 1/2 mile and a friend found a 2.5 gram nugget 10 years ago. For the most part it is small flakes but quite a bit bigger than the Arkansas. It hasn't been detected before that I know of so you might find something.
