light weight utility trailer

Hey all,

Has anyone owned or know someone who has owned the utility trailers from Harbor Freight Tools? They are inexpensive but with the 12 inch tires that come with them, are they okay, or a piece of junk you should run away from? Obviously the price is right, but will they hold up on a long drive, say from Colorado Springs to Douglas Creek or Stanton AZ? I appreciate any input.

They are good as long as you put bearing buddies in the wheels.

I have been using and abusing mine since 2002.......... Just hauled my atv today. On mine, no buddy bearings needed, there is a small zerk fitting to grease bearings easily. I was lucky to get mine (with the larger tires and spare) for $149, was a great deal even if it was made by chicoms.

try craigslist, they have some really good deals right now.
I got a hell of a deal on a enclosed trailer a while back.

When I am driving truck, I see a lot of those busted on the side of the road.
If I happen upon one being towed on the freeway, I make way to the passing lane and get out of their back side.
Don't want to be picking leaf springs from the windshield.

Ya get what you pay for.
