Oh my...my memories of the Feather...it was mid 1980s, August I recall...dredging with my reliable Keene...two plus weeks and tons of cobbles. I was a cheechacko back then...and total recovered was a around an ounce but the exerience was...priceless. Enjoyed the photo.

Used to be a nice place in 78-79 outta Home Garden offa La Porte road at the bridge hahaha so many years ago. Great crumbly slate inside bend,down 100 yards and drift mine underneath the river or up Nelson dredgn' cliff pools and pulling poundage aaaaaaa them was the dayze sooo young and fulla pzzzz and vinegar and PLATINUM all over the place,amazing simply amazing. I'd like a rerun please. Using ol' blues-aka Gold King dredges 3-5" to stay alive with 2 playpins tied together for my new baby to be safe in whilst newly single dad dredged hahahahaha--Reno Medical took gold to pay for his birth costs even.Doc too--them were the dayze...... John
