With all the bad news floating (pun) around, I thought I would check in with a bit of other news.
I recently bought an ultra lite plane and planned to Ariel survey future prospecting sites.
Well while practicing some ground handling runs, managed to loose steering on the tail wheel and take a hard right turn thru my rows of OKRA !! then turned left thru it again!
That trip thru "greenie" land blew up one of the blades of the prop (wood prop) and will cost $385.00.
No other damage except fly over prospecting has been set back to foot falls.

Roger did you remeber to bring a bottle of salad dressing with you on your trip? sounds like you made a quick "tossed salad"!!:) good that you wernt hurt!! sounds also like that Texas heat is getting up there!
