Leonard is hosting something called "Discussion Forums" on the Internet at the expense of his time and money for the benefit of miners everywhere.

I was musing about the definition of the word "forum", and decided to look it up.

Hmmmm....so, is what we see in this place lately actually a forum?

The forum has been pretty thin here lately. Only a few posting. It's that way on Jim's forum also http://alaskagoldforum.x10host.com/phpbb/index.php

I've just been waiting it out for more people to participate here and doing some posting on Jim's forum. It's the greatest place to go for Alaska info.

Thanks for you help and participation Leonard, even one person posting helps. People lose interest in a forum when the posts are old and already read. No new posts or replies equates to less traffic and interest in any forum.

With all the changes in att, microsoft I'm having lots of trouble just getting online and email may be gone unless I get a new KEY??? So many changes as internet security goes apesquat. Mine? With 18 being the fire /smoke/bs from hell year just trying to live is tough enough as visiting the old websites is hard to do with all new ISP,keys garbage-new laws no help for sure to net and mining for sure-John

was reading posts, chuckle a bit about musings. Kind of dates me, but i remember and old movie with Zero Mostel, Phil Silver in it called "A funny thing happened on the way to the forum"
Guess when i think about the word & free associate a bit i get a tune stuck in my damned head.
