I posted this in the other miners board too. This Thursday or Friday, weather permitting, I am renting a helicopter to do a photo recon of my claim off the middle fork of the Yuba above Tyler Foote Crosssing Road. It is in a difficult canyon and I need to resolve some potential issues with some photos for the record. The whole 2 hour trip will cost me almost $1000. I was wondering if anyone else who had a claim within my flight plan would be interested in also getting some photos of their claim during high water? I am trying to figure out a way to help pay for this expensive flight. If maybe I took some photos of your claim, maybe some of you guys can help sponsor the flight. I also may be interested in selling a single seat on the flight- but you cannot weigh more than 200 lbs.
The route I am planning on taking will extend from Auburn Airport to Bullards Bar, up the North Fork Yuba to the 49'er bridge, then hopping over the hill to the Middle Fork of the Yuba and spending some time in the Tyler Foote Crossing area and then travelling up the middle fork all the way up to almost Milton Reservoir, from there I will head back towards Auburn covering the upper reaches of the South Fork of the Yuba, Deer Creek, and down the Greenhorn Creek watershed, back to Auburn.
If anyone is either interested in a seat on this flight or some photos of their claim from the air, email me at mtnblue@exwire.com with your phone number so I can call you. For photos of your claim, I will need exact coordinates of where it is and what exactly you want me to look for and take photos of.
