Hydrolic mining, if done properly isnt any enviroment problem at all! and the socalled "representativves" in California have done a lousy job at what ever theyve been doing! and the elections will bear it out!

My process has no more effect on the environment than running a sluice.
So far, that hasn't been banned. ;)
Read my first few posts and you'll find out exactly what I'm up to.
Washing the material off the bedrock, into a pile, and running it through my sluice.
I have done hours of research and have found nothing illegal or environmentally unsound about my operation. 8-)

P.S.
Actually, it was the Feds that put a ban on the massive hydrolic mining done in the past.
I have done so much, with so little, for so long, that I am now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Now, I just have to find the time to put the dang thing together.

Nope, they are using a "Suction Devise" to move the material into their sluice.
I would call it "Booming".
I shovel up the pile, screen it, and then run it through my sluice.
With the hose pressure I can wash the bedrock clean and move on.
Got me a trench about 5 ft wide and 15 ft long at this time and the bedrock is clean behind me.
Been using a geo hammer to pick out and open the cracks. It all seems to be working just fine. 8-)
