California Dredging Comments For ALL

The commenting is open to ALL. Not just Californians.
Doesn't matter where you live, or who you are, or if you even dredge or will ever be in California. There are no requirements for bieng commentary on this matter!!!! Please Help!

All comments count so read through find something that you have a strong feeling about and send in a comment on it, you can send in as many comments as you would like and as many times.

• Questions not answered in the draft SEIR

Dredging restrictions...

The law says, "...SB 670 prohibits instream suction dredge mining in any river, stream, or lake within California. ...".
What if the river, stream, or lake is dry? I refer to "seasonal" flow.

When they say permits are required (when permits are being issued) for "instream" mining, are they required (again) if there is no "stream"; no actual flow?
I ask because where we work it the only time there's flow is when it's been a heavy heavy winter.

Then DREDGE as I sure as LL am /have/been/always will . This legaleze is in reference to the 100 yard rule as in dredge your brains out 300' from any active running stream and RUNOFF is cool to use your tool. We damned and split in half with a tarp into 2 sections-first clean and 2nd dirty water-PARTY ON tons a au 2 u 2-John
