My last wetsuit, an XXL, is seventeen years old and is the third one I've owned in thirty years of dredging.

Reading all of the replies got me thinking and I've finally come to realize that at 68, I am just too old for my wetsuit.

Life moves on.

I must be twice the man as you. Mine is a XXXXL and I think I may need a 5X this year. Life has been good!

Hey Leonard, Haven't seen you for a few years but some of your friends told me about your increasing size and "being twice the man" and also the need for the extra room required to stuff those flaming boxer shorts/swim suit you were wearing at those old DEF events.

My first wetsuit in 1981 was a size medium. I was 150# back then and the fit was perfect. A year earlier (1980) and thru a divorce I shed about 110 lbs....my first wife's weight. Thirty years later I'd need a larger size, perhaps a XXXL, that could accomodate my added volume, sagging belly and my trusty heart defibulator-pacemaker.

All in all, life has still been good.
