Missouri River

Postby russau » Sat Dec 01, 2012 6:20 am

now that the COE has choked down the dams for the Missouri River in the Dakotas the river is dropping and the Mississippi River is down 5 foot and going to drop another 4 foot in two weeks. im seeing sand bars and bedrock pokeing out of the Rivers. might be a good time to do some looking around before the spring floods/rise come!the COE has contracted the companys that keep the channels open todo some blasting of the bed rock down south, but since the wtaer levels are already low here, just imagine what theyre going tobe pulling up from that depth.ive already seen fine gold from when it was at normal depth.heck around the city of St.Louis there ought tobe hand guns found at these shallow depths, but have probly been used in a holdup or a murder! maybe some gangster stuff??

;) Crocodiles intestinal tract dissolves all bone and calcium based materials and Jimmy had 4 gold teeth but finding them in the everglades is a BIG challenge. All bs aside R dry/low Misery is a treasure trove, wish I was there to go play-John

if its going to be low offten i would take the dector and a pan out and have fun. that river shifts so much and so fast, you will be able to find stuff all the time.
