Wow glad I finally got that out of my system...seriously,,,down in San Jose and other bay areas sewer plants have been mining thrir sludge for many years and made quite a few millions to offset operating costs. John

By the way all the sewer plants have devices in the flow to catch that stuff. Some of it gets pretty mangled going through the pumps, but it's stlll saleable. You would be very surprised as to what gets flushed and how far some of it travels before winding up at the sewer plants. Stinky stuff. HA HA

They actually mine the sludge itself and not found objects only. They treat with a specific flocculant and electowin(plate) the metals off onto ss plates. Then strip off the plate of the metals and refine and viola gold/silver/copper/nickel. John
