I thought they had a program on Discovery a few years ago where they dug out a Russian tank over there. The memories not great but maybe some of you remember it also.

Hahahah my first was a Tandy Craft kit with which you made a Heathkit bfo and away you go. Funny fact is in about 1998 a local club had a detector contest with at least 2 dozen folks entered. My son and I entered and old farts started sniveling that we always win so my son took a tiny kids RadioShack hunka junka and that's what he used. The rich folks had their $1,000+++ units and he less than $20,mine 15+ year old golden sabre. We tied for first and he won the gold coin by a coin toss-damn kid took my gold with a RadioShack proving it's the man and NOT the machine. I will now shut up but your post Matt brought back a extremely funny day at a great picnic-John :D :lol:
