Rumor has it the state is moving forward but at a state speed on steroids (SLOWWWWER than the DMV) 
Also rumored, increase in cost (no surprise)
I think I recall conversation to the above some time back
I figured if any one would have good info in Calif, it would be Hoser
Not that I will ever dredge again, never say never
As Alaska Jim said, hook up with a young buck mule to do the heavy lifting
