over in Illinois they have one of these events latter in the summer and the place is packed with old tractors and impliments similar to these .

What was most amazing to me, was that the last engine (flywheel alone weighs 12 tons) type is still being used today. Backs up turbine and diesel engines in the gas fields, each throw of the pump throws a 55 gallon drum . . .

We have HUGE steam powered olympics/show/parties here in Redding couple a times a year. My ol'bud Jim Rotta started this club,and many other car orgs too.

VERY COOL engine indeed! BUT they failed to have mounted the waterpump and and air compressor for the dredge!
