Miller table pics...

Russ, here you go. I went ahead and posted the pics here Vs PMing them to you in case others wanted to see the design also. I could probably make one of these on my own for less that $100.00, maybe cheaper...just guessing. If you've got questions on construction or materials, let me know. Hope this helps.

Tim is the stepped and grooved area on this table realy neccessary? i run my slate down to a peice of miners moss at the end. the slate is 48(?) inchs long. and when i run the water/angle right, the fine gold is in one area at the top of the table. and everything is screened and run seperatly in a closed loop and the water has Jetdry and Claygone in it.

I bought it that way Russ. There's a lot of redundency built in IMO. I can tell you that the shallow cuts in the slate top trapped a bunch of -100 stuff, where the stair-stepped felt under expanded would catch anything bigger. Most of the time though, the majority of the gold wouldn't even make it to the shallow cuts. The gold really sticks to that slate top.

Didn't Grivy start out with it? It's been long enough now, I've kind'a forgotten who bought it initially. Seems to me at the time, it was heading west for a DEF rally. However, my memory isn't nearly as good as my forgetory these days, so I can't say with certainty.

I do remember how to suck gold, drink too much, tell whopper stories, and swear too often. And...I still know how to cook great 4th of July meals and pick out really good cigars.

Anyway, I'm sure Bill is getting more good out of it than I was. I had great plans for it that never materialized. A blue bowl and recirculator is more my speed these days. A lot smaller and lighter to haul around too.

I have a question on the table. How does the water flow? On two sections or three sections? In the picture I can't tell if the bottom table is just for structural support or the final cleaning section.

Thanks in advance.
