I know Alaska was "the program" but there's always somewhere to dig a lot cheaper and EZ'er to get to & from ! Good Luck on what ever you end up doing !

My apologies to Stumpdust for dragging his thread about his "dry diggins" off topic. Dry or otherwise that is nice gold, keep on keepin' on.

It will be a few weeks before i can get back up there to do some diggin, i will post when it happens, Had this property since 2006 after doin a little searching the last few years i have learned its a pretty good area, its a small dry gulch , maybe 4 feet wide in 2 areas, has about 2 to 3 feet of dirt overburden till you get to the rocks and 1 to 2 foot of that, then its sift and sweep time

Roaring camp is gonna be more then likely a Saturday and dinner, my kids want to go so we will have to see how things go for our family to possibly stay a few days. I sure do miss the place spent much time there, and as always things change. Anyways hoping to be able to spend 3 or 4 solid days dig-gin in the dry diggins!

Got me a new spot, gotta move some boulders, but the gravel layer is 6 inches thick on bedrock and like cement, once the boulders are out and material processed ill report back!
