You will enjoy your trooper's graduation ceremony! Congratulations on having a 19Delta in the family! You should be extremely proud! My son was also a 19Delta and was assigned to the 3-3 of the 3rd ACR at Ft Hood, TX. He spent 15 months in Mosul, Iraq at FOB Marez. They were missioned to the SE Sector of the City. Please keep us informed of his progress. Please pass along my sincere gratitude for his service. We need a lot more like him. God Bless.

Thanks Geno. I'll mention the "Misery" thing when/if he calls on Sunday. He's already got his marching orders; when he graduates, he reports to Ft Riley, KS and then a few weeks later is off to Afghanistan.

I think this will be twice now that I'll miss shaking your hand in person. Was looking forward to meeting you, Russ, Hoser, and all the other posters who will be coming. Shoot, I was even looking forward to surviving another one of Leonards' Jalepeno dinners!

Russ...Misery loves company!! One of these days, I'm gonna come down to the great state of Misery and do some dredging with you. My wife's folks live in St Joe, so I'm part "show me" by marriage. Every time I drive over those glacial morraines south of Mound City on 1-29, I often wonder if there's gold in the creeks that runs through them. Someday, I'll find out.

Hoser, as for Leonard's meal concoctions, what doesn't kill ya will cure you. In your case, flip a coin. Good luck to you sir.

I once went down to the confluences of the Little Nemaha and the Missouri looking for $20 gold coins, but found a bunch of mud and junked cars instead.
