If you hang out with the CCC for a while, there's always a chance that you might end up either on the cover or in a story of the ICMJ's Prospecting and Mining Journal.

For those of you that don't recognize who that is, it's Russau. I know because it's my dredge and my watch on the snorkel. It was taken at the 2007 rally in Oroville, Wa.

Leonard are you sure thats not a dead body floating by??? haha and i think that was in 2007 we were there for the DEf reunion.

Why would any one need a watch on a dredge? (hard yank on the air line) "Times up, my turn!"???

I never trusted my $19.95 Timex's waterproof characteristics. I always put it on the snorkel when I was dredging.

I still have it so I guess it worked.

Oh, your watch, I was going to say how could you tell all I see is arse sticking out of the water. Good eye!!! :lol:

2007 wow and I thought they used more recent photos on these, I will keep that in mind.

That was a picture submitted for the annual photo contest a few years ago. Scott Harn ran them to get pictures to use in the magazine. Over the years I won 55 silver dollars and 1 - $10.00 gold piece. I didn't know he was going to use it. It was a pleasant surprise when I opened the mailbox and saw it this afternoon.

Tom i would think everyone would know that a person has to keep a watch on your dredge or someone would try to steal it! isnt that how it works?haha
