I'm a casting associate with a major NYC based production company. I came across your site and thought you might be just what we're looking for! I'd like to extend this opportunity and see if it's at all something you would be interested in.

Our newest project is a big time adventure show that will be filming in Western Alaska this summer, and is all about both first time and experienced miners trying their hand to find real gold nuggets at a historic gold rich claim in Alaska. There are four requirements: minimum 1 week availability, ability to self fund the excursion, big personality and a determination to find gold! This project is not for the faint of heart but it could have a big pay off.

At first I though this was an outfitter using the reality show as bait to get clients to sign up. However, I checked and the production company is legit...Hmmm

nawwwwwwww they wouldnt do that, would they??:) maybe they put it that way to ensure that the ones that would seek this "opertunity" would be sincere about their efforts in getting as much gold as they possibly can. Rather than (for example) me going up there and sitting by some campfire drinking and crabbing about what ever like Scott did. hey ya know what,that dont sound like a bad idea for me! Maybe i can talk Leonard into going with me so i could have a drinking buddy!:) HMMMMM?? well that idea is out! my meds wont let me drink! you guys wouldnt tell on me ,would you???:)

What is the name of the production company?
I put my name and info in but told them I'm not funding the trip. I doubt anyone would fund their own trip to be filmed for a pilot show that will never be seen on TV.
