New to the site

Postby nichitjo » Sun Aug 11, 2013 7:05 pm

Hey people, I am Ron and just moved to Nebraska from Southern Oregon. I heard about this site from a friend of mine from another gold site. I am hoping to be able to make a few trips yet this year over to Colorado or Wyoming, maybe both lol. Anyway I just wanted to say hello to everyone. May all of your pans have yellow on the bottom!!!

Ed should be going down to Buena Vista a little after Labor Day to dredge for a few days. Keep an eye here and on the Rocky Mountain forum. I'd bet he cpould find you a place to work and camp when he's there. Also, you can look at C-17a's posts. He's pretty much the expert on where to pan and sluice around there.

Thanks for the warm welcome from you guys. I have been at this for about 5 years but by no means do i know everything. What I do know is that it has been quite a while since I have been out digging and I can not wait to get out there again for a day or two. As far as the cold drinks are concerned, Make mine a Jack, Straight, on the rocks. I look forward to meeting some of you folks at some point but until then, Have a great time digging out there.

Post a couple of links to the videos that don't work for you and I'll take a look to see what the problem is.

I am thinking about trying to make a trip out for a weekend in the middle of September. Does anyone have any info on a place to just go dig and have fun? I am in Grand Island Ne and I am thinking maybe S Dakota.
