I resized a picture to 90 X 68 pixels and it will not upload???? Help

Check the file size. It has to be less than 6.4k I've never tried any format other than jpg either. The size limits are 90 x 90. Yours must be larger than 6.4k

I have been working and working on this. Got it down to 62 X 47 pixels and it still will not load. If I compress it, the picture looks very very bad! And it still will not load. Can the min. kb be increased?

After reading of your avatar trouble Steve, I tried & was able to get an avatar to "take"...
Onward and Upward...The original was more rectangular so it ended up being 90 x 43 pixels....Tom

I've raised the avatar size limit to 100 x 100 pixels and bumped the maximum size restriction to 10k. That ought to make it easier for everyone make their avatar.
