Funny thing is, I was on the other side of the mountain and too busy dredging to make it over to the rally
I did stop by the day before the rally on my way over and donated an armload of gear to be raffled.
I talked to a few in attendance and the report is that it was a good show.
There was a reporter from a local newspaper there and we got a very good story published.

Dan did you do good dredging ?

I thought about going, I have never been to a rally, I spent a bit of time around liberty in years past even had a claim there. I looked at the prices of flying ,rental car and motel . decided to stay in Costa Rica . glad a good time was had.

I moved about 10-12 yards in two locations on a new claim. I think it had been worked before so the gold was thin. However, the water was not ice cold and the weather was great. :P

Heard from 'Chris' at Blackjack's Detectors and Mining Equipment that the Liberty RC Rally had good attendance and they sold a lot of equipment. They had a equipment display and booth at the Rally.
