Pick and Shovel says
Miner win federal preemption battle.
California Superior Court judge rules against state's "scheme" to ban dredging.
Still don't know whether dredging is on again.
What crap, government is supposed to work for us not act like thughs.

The state has not begun selling permits. Not sure where they will go with the ruling.
My bet, this is not over court ruling wise. We (the miners) will be back in court at some point.
Dennis, if we are back in the water, you coming back to El Dorado county ?

I hear that the state is taking it to the CA Supreme Court for appeal. Still fighting the ruling. Really sad that they feel that mining and miners are no longer acceptable in CA.
These folks only see the world as they want it to be. No one else has a voice or an alternative view that they wil consider. It's their way or no way!!!!!

one thing for sure they are going to fight it all the way.
Because if this "Law" get thrown out because the fed law trumps it. CA is in deep dodo there are a lot of law and regs that will also be challenged.
THEY are not going to like it in Sacramento!

I was forced to sign a GAG ORDER to assist 2/7 of the litigants in SB under Judge Ochoa. Things are horrendous as the "all or nothing crowd" kills all same as 1994. YAA now pocket pickn' forever.
Could you ever expect a tiger to change stripes? When the Judge rules--as stated in open court so it is legal to repeat--YOU ALL WILL NOT LIKE HOW I'M GOING TO RULE. Mandatory negotiations story-which I will definately post the behind the scenes CENSORED -will make one and all mad as hell, when it is legal to do so without going to jail.
