Douglas Creek July 4th

Postby golden optimist » Wed Jun 24, 2015 2:05 pm

Jeff Wiley and family are flying in from Florida to spread Geno's ashes on the claim. What I need is someone to meet them at Wycolo on the morning of July 4th to lead them to the claim to do the ceremony. I am unable due to just getting out of the hospital. Anyone that wants to help out is free to dredge on the claim. Actually, anyone that wants can anyway. They have 6 tickets so cancelling isn't an option.

If you can help out, please let me know.

Leonard,

I might be able to take Christina and Bella for a weekend trip to Douglas Creek this weekend. I would be more than happy to meet up with Geno's family and lead them to the claim. It's only been 8 or 9 years since I've been there, so I will need directions again myself. What are the dredge limitations for Douglas Creek?

Dave and his daughter volunteered. They'll meet Geno's family on the 4th.

You are welcome to go if you want. There is a 3" dredge nozzle limitation.

Here's directions.

If you go, let me know so I can give you a letter.

Thank you Leonard.

Is Dave planning on doing any dredging while he's there?

I hope EVERYTHING goes smooth for this memorial to Gene and Cathy and the family! I wish I could be there in body rather than in spirit!
