Marlin Littlefield of Crawford, CO died last week. He loved dredging and owned several claims in southwest Colorado. I wish that there was a way to hold on to some all this know-how. Leonard's video section is pretty good. But I have seen them all. Now I am wishing for some more.

The ranks are growing old and not being replenished with youngsters. Just think of all the knowledge that is being lost!!

As for youngsters coming up....

They don't want to do the work, the research, the ground pounding
They want the map with an "X" saying dig here, and send someone to do the work for me
It's the "I deserve it" mentality.
You don't deserve S**T, get out there and work for it like the rest of us have

In my opinion the word 'deserve' should be removed from the dictionary

I work at a college and see it all day long
This country is heading for a world of hurt
