Say hello to Gene and Gary at the MGM booth. I think they are usually there.

I'll look for them. Should be a fun time connecting with old DEF friends. Cheers!

....Made a brief stop at the WPMA Gold Show on Sat. I had caught the cold that's going around and was there for only a couple of hours. Here is what I noted.
1. Not a lot of new or larger size equipment was on display. Only a couple of dealers featured suction dredges on display.
2. Noted some of the former gold and mining equipment exhibitors were not longer in business.
3. Moderate attendance and the crowds were not as big as a few years back.
The fun was in swapping old stories and seeing old friends. Cheers!

Dave:

Sad to read your notes. We will see what the next 4 years will bring.
I'm not optimistic though.

I forgot to mention the number of small high bankers and combos (like 2") that were being sold. Keene's new MAXX 2" units, Prolines, some Royals and a number of other (and unfamiliar) brands. Interest was with HBs because many feel that they can be used above stream flow and on benches and bars if there is a squeeze on sub-surface dredging. Also saw a lot of HydroForce nozzles going out the door. We'll see how the March 18-19 GPAA show goes at Puyallup (WA) Fair Grounds.
