Thanks for the thoughts Russ and Geno.
Mother nature has definitely had central Oklahoma in her sights for the past few months. An EF4 tornado passed about 2.5 miles north of our house on May 10th. Baseball sized hail fell within a mile of the house on May 16th. Then about a foot of rain fell in just a few hours over downtown Oklahoma City earlier this week (about 15 miles north of the house).
Through it all, me and my family have been avoided all the trouble spots. No roof damage, or dented cars, or any other problems. I'm a meteorologist, so this is the stuff that I love. But there are limits to anyone's enjoyment of crazy weather!
