Alaska 2010

Here's some pics from our Alaska trip. We visited 2 pay-to-play operations, Chicken Gold Camp, and Cache Creek Cabins.
If you ever wanted to go to Alaska, but didn't want to have to head out on your own, both of these are great operations.
Next time we'll have to spend more than a day or 2 at each. We got about 1/2 ounce total, equally split between the two locations.

The drill seemed to be to scrape everything off the layer of sticky clay. That gravel bar was 4 days old...
It was deposited in the first flood they had this year that took out the Taylor Highway... Lots of gold moving around...

Cool.......Alaska is on my list of things to do.....it's great to have places like this for prospectors from different area's......I can pull A sample of gold and get A feel for the area and the history and not worry about jumping claim on someone.........great for the family.
