Comments on the Center for Biological Diversity's petition to get the MYLF declared an endangered species are due in Sacramento by 5PM PT. (now 4/1/11, see update below)

If you have not yet submitted a comment letter saying you "do not support" the Listing of the Mountain Yellow-Legged Frog as endangered, please send a comment e-mail to be counted in our column. Include your name.

By 5PM PT today... e-mail your comments to: MYLF@dfg.ca.gov

It's official!!! DFG has decided to extend the deadline for comments on listing the MYLF until April 1st.

Giving everyone time to get their 1st, 2nd or 3rd letter in.

Also, there is a lot of forum info to read on this subject. When you have time, take a few minutes to read some of the comments in other threads, or the links in this original post. Then, just think about it for a few days. You will soon come up with another great logical argument for why the MYLF does not need to be listed, and what should be done instead. Your letter along with hundreds of others opposing Endangered Species status for the MYLF 'will' be heard in Sacramento.
