yep it makes me sick to think that our socalled "representatives" would stoop so low and even talk about this! but in todays paper there a small section in the "world" area of the paper that has a very small artical on this. and on the page befoe it ole harry has his picture in the middle of a artical on "strict gun laws get push today" they want as much publicity and some bs info out there for all the public to see how great they are in pushing for a "safer" America(?) not 1 more law will stop this maddness, esspecially if they wont/dont defend the laws they have now! the bad guys dont care about some STUPID law or the men and women that help to keep us safe! and they want to take our weapons from us? ill bet theyve got another agenda up their sleeve that they want to shove it down our throats also!

it seems all the nays were democrats & the yeas are republicans. democrats figured this is the way to get back at the republicans as the majority don't agree with the president's budget. the two from Colorado are democrats and will get an ear full! not that it will do any good. i'm sure the 8 democrats that voted yea will hear from their party. at least the republicans all stuck together.
