OGM, I consider you a friend, I didn't mean to get you all riled up.

I am looking at it from a reallity standpoint. All the signs I see, I just don't see anything happening anytime soon, till spring 2011, maybe.

Support, funding, knowledge, commitment of unity.... I just don't see it. Saddest thing I have ever seen.

I know you mean good and are trying to raise awareness. Thanks.

John,

You are one of the most up front, straight forward, stand up & be counted guys around.
I respect you, and your stance. Not to mention “like” you.

I am not riled up at you at all. I am riled up at all the “talk BS & do nothing” folks.

The bulk of us would react quickly, if somebody was stealing our car, breaking into our house, holding us up, demanding our wallet & jewelry.

That’s what’s going on here. Anti-mining activists groups are robbing us of our property rights.

If this was 1850, mark my words……..

The miners would have a town hall meeting, make a decision, go find the culprits. Have a fair trial, get some rope, find a tree……….. You know the rest.

Sadly……. Those days are gone.

Here is a picture of some of my families mining camp heirlooms.
You talk about heritage.
The date on the double skillet on the left is July 1924
It belong to my grandparents.
The newest is the coffee pot.
It dates to 1958.

We still use it all...every year.
If those could talk.
You would hear some gold mining stories from days gone by.
