Many of you have been talking about being pro-active, well here is your chance. California Senator Sam Aanestad, the man who fought and defended against SB670, the anti dredging bill and the man who also proposed a Bill to refund the suction fees to the miners and also trying to get it passed is now running for Lieutenant Governor for the State of California. He is also an anti tax advocate.

I know that we only have about 4,000 suction dredgers in the state but they also have friends and relatives here, so now is a chance to get out there and help the Senator get elected. All I can say is this is a chance to do something and not just bitch about what is going on. If you don’t take a few minutes out of your life to talk to your friends and relatives about who they vote for this time, it is nobodies fault but our own. It doesn’t matter if you are an independent, a democrat or a republican, in this case we need to vote for the man and not the party.

He'll get my vote. Leaning towards Poisner for Gov.. He is supported by McClintock who is fiscally conservative. Was interested in Whitman until I found out she was spending $59 million of her own money. Sounds like an over ego problem. How far would she have got if she didn't have her own money?. The democrats control California, if we don't vote them out we may not see dredging for years.
