Another OBAMA change... this means if you make any deposit to any account of say, $1,000, you are taxed $10. If your Social Security is automatically deposited (as mine is) it automatically gets reduced by 1%. When does the hypocrisy stop??
This is almost unbelievable.........we'll have to hide our money (or lack of) under the mattress.

I checked this out on Truth or Fiction and it is true. The bill is HR-4646 introduced by US Rep Peter DeFazio D-Oregon and US Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa. It is now in committee and will probably not be brought out until after the Nov. elections.
Suggest that you pass this along and also to your state Senator and Representative and US Congressman and Senators.
Barack Obama's finance team and Nancy Pelosi are recommending a 1% transaction tax on all financial transactions.
His plan is to sneak it in after the November election to keep it under the radar.

See what Nancy has to say about this wonderful idea! It's only 1%!
This is a 1% tax on all transactions to or from any financial institution i.e.. Banks, Credit Unions, Mutual funds, Brokers, etc. Any deposit you make will have a 1% tax charged. Any withdrawal you make, 1% tax. Any transfer within your account, a transfer to or from savings and checking, will have a 1% tax charged. Any ATM transaction, withdrawal or deposit, 1% tax. If your pay check or your Social Security is direct deposited, 1% tax. If you carry a check to your bank to deposit, 1% tax. If you take cash in to deposit, 1% tax. If you receive any income from a bond or a dividend from stock, 1% tax.
Any Real Estate Transaction, 1% tax. (This is on top of the 3.8% they just slid in on you) total nearly 5%, commission + tax 11%, some states "Excise Tax is an additional 1+% 12% OR MORE)
Pay for your insurance (health)... 1%

Consider 1% on the buyer of coming in, and 1% on the seller going out 2% of all transactions... unreal. Some areas in California are over 9%, add two more 11%, who are they kidding???
When will the pain wake America up to this non-sense. This administration is about YOUR MONEY, and they will take it from you however they can.

This is from the man who promised that if you make under $250,000 per year, you will not see one penny of new tax! Remember, he is completely honest and trustworthy.
You would think they would do something about the out of control SPENDING, and Entitlements... too much, too out of control. They have to be Stopped!!!
Keep your eyes and ears open.

HR-4646 was introduced by Democratic Congressional Representative Chaka Fattah of Pennsylvania. He also introduced HR 3759 in 2004, HR 1601 in 2005, HR-2130 in 2007 and HR-1703 in 2009. All of those were a similar tax idea, all died in committee, and only one had ever managed to get a co-sponsor.
US Rep Peter DeFazio D-Oregon and US Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa are not co-sponsors of this bill.
Also, the comment attributed to Nancy Pelosi is actually HR-4191, which was introduced by Rep Peter DeFazio in 2009, and was titled “Let Wall Street Pay for the Restoration of Main Street Act”.

Don’t get me wrong- I think that if Congress can think of a way to reach into my wallet, they just might. No way is one new income source going to offset or eliminate another one. Mo money? Mo spending!

just the thought of it turns my stomach. and to think, these are "people", the socalled "representatives" that "we the people" voted into office. the only thing they are representing is "their" partys interests and NOT America or Her people!

i just spent 1 hour with 7 other people talking to one of our socalled "representatives" Clair mcCaskil (D,Mo) about our concerns. i talked pertty much on issues(HR4646,healthcare,unemployeement,legislators able to lie with impunity)and other issues. it was in a large room with 1 wall that was all windows and the shades were open. there was a string of cars parked outside and 1 of them had a man in a white shirt/tie parked right next to my truck.hummmm he never got out of his car and i thought that was strange.it was 80 degrees out and he was in the sun! when the meeting ended i left the room and went to my truck and this guy was still there with a computor and lots of papers across his seat. and when i approached my truck he looked up and stared at me untill i got into my truck and drove away. i just wonder?????????? im kinda glad he didnt make any quick movements and stayed in his car!!!! i can see the news now if he had!!! local minister shot from a crazy bearded guy after meeting with U.S. Senators staff! that would be just my luck!

Good for your Russ!

Do you think she heard a word you said?

Do you think she will understand what you said?

They come out and have these meetings with the people, but I really wonder if they honestly even care about what they hear.

I think it's only about getting re-elected.

IMHO :?

Mell this was a represendative of hers. she cant/wont speak "for" a gubermint official. to ask any rep a question, you must put it in writing and mail it to them. she was passing out these forms so we can write a question. finnaly someone said they have plenty of forms and really only needed 1 that we could copy off our computor. funny thing is that we only see/hear from these people around or close to election time!i let her know i was voting against her! is Mickey Mouse running for election this comeing year????

At least then you know your voting in a rat!!!! Some day he'll win then those govt. big-wigs will go "What the hell!", Damn!!! I believe the only way the govt. will ever listen to the people will be when they are held responsible for their actions, which will never happen. What we need is a good ol' dictator ship with a bad-azz in charge!!! Ralph 'Sonny" Barger for example!
