Bullet stamping law now in effect in kalif

A calif law that requires all semiautomatic handguns to be equipped with technology that stamps it's identifying information on bullet casings when shot is now in effect after years of delays. This insanity covers all NEW OR MODIFIED semiautos and retrofit law is on the way. Pick up your casing in kalif...sic sic sic-John

does cal. pay for this modification? it seems to me that previously owned weapons would be grandfathered by this new BS law! weapons already leave their mark on rounds that are shot, why another identifier? and any "good"crook wouldnt care what these new laws want or do! their weapons were probly stolen anyway!does dump guns bring back any memories?

Ifn' ya can't pay for the new gadget ya can't buy the new gun. Went to 4 gun stores here yesterday and NOT a single semi auto/auto for sale to anyone. First buy up all the bullets and now make it impossible to buy guns as gadget is so far from 1 company only. Talk about a subsidized MONOPOLY. Only in kalif ,land of stupidity-John

Engraver been in use by the police for almost 10 years back east as prototypes perfected there. NO new guns for me,don't need any more really as can't shoot more than a dozen or so at once,toes not that coordinated to handle the recoil John

I heard yesterday Moonbeam didn't sign this into law?? it was passed by the legislature but Moonbean didn't sign.. not sure if'n it's true.. heard on XM Gun talk on way home from my rental property yesterday
