Sara Palin

Well she was back in Republic on June 1 as the guest speaker for the Senior
graduating class. She stated that Republic is her dad's favorite town as when
he was driving thru Republic when Sara was 2 months old and headed to Omak
for a teaching job his car broke down and one of the local garage owners fixed
it for him at no charge, told him that he had been in a bind once like he was
and someone else had helped him out. That was the way it was out West.
I didn't go see her as my back was bothering me, the wife went and said
everybody enjoyed her. Also one of the young men that was graduating was
a friend of Palin's and asked her to do this.
