PLP Response to SB 670

Postby jerhobbs » Thu Sep 08, 2011 8:15 am

CA DFG responded PLP's SB 670 lawsuit by order of the court with an update as to where they are on completing the suction dredging EIR and promulgating the new dredging regulations. This link will take to the PLP response to to the DFG court ordered response.

We believe that because of AB 120 it is time to amend our SB 670 complaint and file for a preliminary injunction on SB 670.

On a bit of a ligther note, I came up with this new joke.Since they've outlawed mining in Cali. they've had to change the name of the 49'ers. They're now called the San Francisco Butt Pirates!!!!! (Showes where their brains are!)

refer to your device as a "Aquatic macro bioform habitat restoration/ toxic pollutant removal vessel"
definition of dredge...

dredge (third-person singular simple present dredges, present participle dredging, simple past and past participle dredged)
to coat moistened food with a powder, such as flour or sugar

Dredging is an excavation activity or operation usually carried out at least partly underwater, in shallow seas or fresh water areas with the purpose of gathering up bottom sediments and disposing of them at a different location. This technique is often used to keep waterways navigable.
It is also used as a way to replenish sand on some public beaches, where too much sand has been lost because of coastal erosion. Dredging is also used as a technique for fishing for certain species of edible clams and crabs, see fishing dredge.
A dredge is a device for scraping or sucking the seabed, used for dredging. A dredger is a ship or boat equipped with a dredge. The terms are sometimes interchanged.

this sure seems tobe a lot of unneeded work/thinking for some democratic socalled "representatives" in California that needed to get voted OUT of office quickly! then we could work on getting this Stupid language out of the laws and everyone could get back on track with their lives! if it could only be this simple!

If you gave that definition to a ranger, you would stop them cold :? while they radioed their headquarters for further information as what to do. Unless, according to Russ, you had your dredging operation in an out of the way place, tree canopy covering you and camouflage netting in place    Wonder who that could be :?: :o   ;)
