Spent over 25 years dredging in CA rivers and streams and was fortunate to recover a lot of nice gold...on the Yuba (and tribs) and the Klamath and Scott Rivers. I am hopeful that future miners will also have an opportunity to dredge in CA...where the summer evenings were warm and comfortable as well as the water...and the gold is beautiful.

Judge has so far refused to file so not a win yet. Some insipid verbage about not letting his decision be a precedent to hang other cases on so we can dredge. Almost, damn near but as usual NOT. My lawyer said federal judges do this game quite a bit now?? I was always taught, and god forbid common sense ruled, that a ruling was a ruling but now it's not a win till recorded I believe is the proper process in the federal register. John

Miners need to slodify our win by sending petitions to have the court publish their decision. There were three appealte court jusdges sitting on this case. I am going to copy and paste a link where you can get a sample letter and get the information on there and how to send it. We only have twenty days from Sept. 22nd. so time is a-wastin'.

It looks like the letter writing campaign by miners has been successful. The court has agreed to publish its decision. Thanks to all who took the time to write.

10/08/2014 Order granting publication filed. BY THE COURT: HULL, Acting P.J., ROBIE, J., HOCH, J.
