Got the scam IRS phone call today

Postby golden optimist » Mon Mar 30, 2015 2:22 pm

The answering machine caught the threatening call from the "IRS" today saying we were going to get sued if we didn't call back right away.

If I disappear on a black helicopter, you will know I didn't call back and give them my credit card number. If they are the IRS they already know my bank numbers and ssn.

it is advised to report these lucky calls! atleast then you've got someone to yell at! Ive reported the "credit card services "to our Attorney General here in Misery many times to NO avail! OR give them the phone number to the CDFW or the WDFW or the USFS

I always call them back or talk to them, i let them know i just received a new credit card with a limit of 15,000 and hope it will cover the taxes i owe, they just have to come and get the funds as i wont give my CC# over the phone, i explain that there are to many scammers and that im sure they can understand.

 I don't have caller ID as I consider it a invasion of a persons privacy. Yes I know crazy ol'fart stubborn as LL. I just renew my no caller spam listing every year on both phones and no problems yet. I had a problem a few years back but after turning them in,after a dozen calls,I got a check for $200 from the fine for breaking the law though. Now that was a real nice present and by god no more calls since. By the way Leonard when all that cash proves too much to keep track of could you please send a few pounds to me please to ease your burden that is  as I do believe in trying to assist ol'friends ........John

Ive been on that "no call " list here in misery since its conception here. Ive sent the Misery Attorney General a list of unwanted calls and sent in their forms they provided and still get them calls all the time. I called the AGs office and talked with somebody there and they said they've also tried to find the origination point but they cant find it. my comment to them was that I felt their no call program was WORTHLESS if they cant find these people! If they cant find them , then how do the IRS ,police , homeland security find the bad guys?

In kalif all we do is call the number and leave the offenders numbers/how many calls/when and that's all folks- 1-888-382-1222 and the option comes up on the menu. Works on cell and home and been very reliable for something the government is involved in  John

I'm on my second ominous warning call, I laugh as I listen to the recording shaking in my socks

In our house, no one answers the phone until we hear a voice/person that we want to talk to.
If you call my house, keep talkin, maybe I'll pick it up....maybe.
