Landfill fire

Postby golden optimist » Fri Oct 16, 2015 6:10 am

Russ:
Last night on the radio they were talking about a landfill fire in your neck of the woods, somewhere near Ferguson, that has been burning for quite a while but now it;s getting close to an area that has a lot of radioactive waste that if it burned could contaminate a huge area around St Louis. You heard about that? Just 1 more reason to move out of there.

YEP its in Bridgeton , Misery , and its been burning forever and if you live down wind it STINKS!I think our socalled "representatives" have been dragging their feet way to long for this. years back before the epazzs they used to burn trash as a way to get rid of it. heck its still burning deep in the ground. and its next to the A-bomb waste that was left over from the war! SOON we wont need street lights at night because of the glow!!!!

That's the place. They said that if the fire gets into the thorium waste, a big section of the downwind state may be moving out.

I just wonder if all that radiation would cook hotdogs faster without getting the hotdog into the flames? would it be like cooking a hotdog in a microwave????
